Halter Ranch is one brand with three scenic wine destinations – Paso Robles, Temecula, and Texas.

Position

The Halter Ranch marketing team is growing and looking for an organized, detail-oriented visual storyteller to join our team as a Social Media Content Assistant.

This is a part-time position that requires being on-site and periodic travel to attend off-site events. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule – some weekends, the occasional holiday, and in the evenings for events.

The Social Media Content Assistant collaborates with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to develop, execute, and maintain a consistent brand image and messaging curated to social media platforms and trends. The job includes creating original content, communicating with the public in a professional manner befitting the brand, and assisting with collaboration efforts with influencers and partners.

Qualifications

  • Strong visual and storytelling skills – must have an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling

  • Comfortable on camera and/or helping others with being on camera

  • Desire to create authentic and memorable brand interactions for all

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platforms to optimize content engagement

  • Availability to be present onsite to capture content during important events and for daily service and experiences

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • A driver’s license and a reliable car

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the branding and development of marketing campaigns and collateral dedicated to heightening brand awareness, cultivating leads, enhancing partner relationships, and increasing sales efforts

  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, collaborate, and execute creative material for publishing to support the brand’s distinct narrative on social platforms - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

    • Lifestyle and on-location content with a strong emphasis on video – Stories, Reels, TikTok

    • Create scripts and shot lists for video concepts

  • Implement and maintain a social media strategy across social platforms with engaging content and media that align with the brand for Halter Ranch, Halter Ranch Temecula, Halter Ranch Texas, and more

  • Maintain and support community engagement on social accounts

  • Respond promptly to user comments on social media accounts, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff as necessary

  • Analyze data to identify and grow Halter Ranch brand awareness and specific niche audiences

  • Compile insights and report on trends and campaign successes

  • Assist with ensuring all marketing maintains consistent messaging and cohesive brand experience across all internal and consumer touchpoints

  • Attend on and off-site events and daily service to produce quality live social media content

  • Deliver on-time, high-quality assets that adhere to the Halter Ranch brand

  • Assist with influencer campaigns (influencer discovery, vetting, etc.)

  • Responsible for complying with all internal processes, protocols, and internal reporting and communications within the team

Must Have

  • Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects effectively

  • Ability to execute campaign visuals in a suitable timeframe while maintaining the creative vision

  • Must be able to write a shot list and script for employees

  • Must be able to use iPhone, DSLR, and other accessories for filming (gimble, tripod, etc.)

  • Flexible schedule. Weekends and evenings as needed – winery events/special experiences are generally held on the weekends and certain holidays

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Keen ability to multi-task and pivot based on brand and marketing calendar needs

  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time

  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Klaviyo, Red Chirp, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business, TikTok, and YouTube

Ideal Skills

  • Proficiency in short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro experience is a plus)

  •  a competitive knowledge of branding and advertising in all media

  • Comfortable using Canva, LinkTree, Squarespace, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite
